Rakeback Partners Blog

A Russian player going by the online name of ‘innerpsy’ has recently notched up a huge 40,000 games in just 18 and a half hours! Now that’s a big online poker player if ever there was one. And imagine the rakeback he must be getting!

As online poker continues to expand globally, access to the online poker tables is becoming easier and quicker as the rooms strive to accommodate the demand. Some games even start from just 1 cent to play!

It transpires that the mammoth 40,000 games played by ‘innerpsy’ was a conscious effort to create a new record and was supported by Pokerstars.com and Card Game Masters (a Russian forum for online poker players). During the attempt, around 10,000 people logged on to watch the feat in action.

"Before this challenge, I had never actually played more than 20,000 hands in a day before but the idea came up and I just figured I could do it,” Innerpsy said. “It was one of the toughest things I have ever accomplished but I am proud I managed it."

But already Innerpsy has a challenger who has contacted PokerStars claiming he intends to complete 50,000 hands in 24 hours. Innerpsy will need to stay on top of his game to stay in the game!

Although Full Tilt’s Rush Poker may well up the ante with its new high speed, intense poker game allowing players to move to a new table as soon as they have folded.

With all this high speed online poker playing, it seems a very good time to start a poker rakeback affiliate site and generate a monthly commission stream from high volume game players.

It’s not so long ago that we all wracked our brains to complete out Christmas shopping lists and deliberated over those hard to buy for people. Of course an easy and convenient gift choice has become the lottery ticket. It’s affordable, easy to send to the recipient and provides a bit of fun.

However many present givers overlook the fact that it is illegal to give lottery tickets and scratch cards to children. In fact, research goes further to show that many problem gamblers have been exposed to betting at a very early age and those that start young are likely to retain the habit throughout adulthood.

Adding to the issue is the problem with the attractiveness of scratch cards. They are purposefully designed to be colorful, attract the eye and exude fun; perfect for capturing a child’s imagination. In Alberta in the US it has been found that 33% of teenagers there have illegally played the scratch cards; clearly a problem that needs countering.

For those of you reading this who are over 18 or 21 depending on your location, a legal way to get a regular return with much improved odds, is to start your own poker rakeback affiliate site. Attract players and earn commission on their rake every month.

Over past years it has generally been policy around the world for casinos to work in partnership with gambling addiction groups to aid those players with a problem. This help usually takes the form of a self exclusion program, by which gamblers who recognize they have a problem can request that they are barred from their local casinos.

The provision of their photo is circulated to security teams who will then forcibly stop them from entering the gambling establishment in question and have them arrested for trespassing if necessary.
So it’s been quite a surprise that the Golden Eagle Casino in the US has ceased to run its exclusion program. It seems that it is too challenging to enforce and manage and the casino does not want to be held responsible for failing to stop determined gamblers in their tracks.

By the same token the Golden Eagle takes pains to ensure it is not seen as actually encouraging problem gamblers and has notified all those players who were registered with their program of the changes to the enforcement process and that they will no longer be responsible for managing the players admission. Although some critics have seen this move as positively encouraging players back into the establishment!

However the Kansas Coalition on Problem Gambling is keen to ensure that no other casinos follow in the footsteps of the Golden Eagle and aims to have the casino reinstate its program.

Happily though, there is a more positive aspect to electing oneself to a program. For instance, signing up with the largest rakeback affiliate network can bring you high returns from starting your own rakeback affiliate site and earning a regular monthly income from it.

It's unbelievable how many lottery scams are still doing the rounds, a decade after they were first brought to light. None of the scams are ever linked to any type of real lottery anywhere in the world. It seems that a significant majority of the scams go unreported due to their victims being too humiliated to confess to them.

Such scams typically start with an email, or possible a letter, to the recipient informing them that they are a lucky winer of some previously unheard of lottery.  Some of the lottery names may be valid. The ‘winner' is then required to contact the ‘administrator' to claim their prize and in the course of doing so is asked either for a fee to process the payment to them or to disclose their bank details so that the payment can be made to them.

There are a few quick fire ways to check if you are in receipt of a hoax win though:

  • If you haven't purchased a ticket for any sort of lottery or draw then you simply can't have won one!
  • Legitimate lotteries never asked for a processing payment in order to claim the prize. This is in fact illegal.
  • Always be aware of the email address that  the email has been sent from. If it's from an internet email account then it's going to be a scam.

It is hardly surprising that people don't readily admit to being conned in this way. Amazingly, in the UK alone, about £260 million is scammed from unsuspecting people every year, averaging around £2000 per victim!

If you'd like to take advantage of a legitimate monthly cash bonus then starting your own poker rakeback affiliate site is a great way of doing it. Generate monthly commission payments from your players and ignore you're the lottery scams!
